Richard Poulton has been involved in the photographic industry for over 20 years. Starting work as a printer and then a retoucher before becoming a photographer. Working so closely with many of the worlds best photographers was an amazing apprenticeship to the world of a commercial photographer and gave him a rather unique insight into this wonderful occupation. Richard worked in one of London's best photography labs (Metro Imaging) for 6 years, printing and retouching many award winning images. This period of work has been hugely influential on his photography. Now living in Canberra, Australia and also working in Sydney and Melbourne, Richard is producing some of his best and most interesting work.
